Museums and art galleries should concentrate on works that show history and culture of their own country rather than works of the other parts in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

I disagree with this statement that museums should only show culture and history of their own country because, it is influential to know about other countries history and culture as well. While allowing other countries work at the museum it helps people educate. To begin with I think people who are not able to travel or cannot afford to travel can come to the museums and know about cultures of other countries. It is nice to see everything at one place rather than just traveling all around the world. The museums can always prioritize their own culture first but if they don’t have enough cultural artwork then they can surely display works of other places and they can have a separate room for other countries historical arts. In addition museums these days have different rooms for different works for example there is are collection of tools which were used during wars, so that room would be called as war museums, there is vehicles museum, ornaments, clothes and so on. Having different sections for each and every thing can excite tourists because there is so much to see and know about those things, moreover if those museums show culture of other countries it would be fabulous and appreciated by others and maybe because of that people from other country can do the same. To sum up everything, I would say museums have great value for displaying works of other countries as well, it is all about knowledge of history and culture years back.
