Modern technology has a great impact on our environment. Some say that people should adopt a simple lifestyle to solve this problem, while others argue that the technology itself should provide a solution. 5NO1D
In modern times, humans have developed a vast amount of new technologies to the point that it has changed our daily lives drastically and we have became dependent on these technologies. In light of this arguments against these technologies, which are starting to impact our environment have formed. On one side we can live simpler lives by using bicycles instead of cars and lower our electricity usage and hence the impact on the environment, but on the other side we can use this technology to develop renewable fuels and find ways to limit or even eliminate pollution.
Adopting a simpler lifestyle is one way to go about solving this issue. Limiting the use of cars and more use of bikes and also lowering our electricity usage by less tv watching and dishwashers and washing machines can drastically lower the negative effects. Cars are a major part of this issue and by limiting car usage we can limit the amount of pollution and negative effect. In addition to this point, By eliminating all unnecessary usage of electricity, we can lower the amount of electricity production which is a very polluting task. While these points are valid, we will discuss the other side of the argument in the next paragraph.
Technology has came a long way and it is already pursuing ways to reduce negative impacts on the environment. Renewable energy sources and eliminating pollution by using new technologies are two major points in helping to solve these negative influences on the environment. With these advancements in technology scientists can develop renewable fuels to the point where fossil fuels will no longer be used. In the meanwhile we can have technologies for limiting the amount of pollution and even use it for other useful use cases. As we can see from the arguments both sides have valid points.
