In your opinion, what has been the most significant transportation innovation of the past 200 years?

In this modern age, transportation plays a vital role in our daily lives. Several people have to commute to their destination every day. However, most of individuals selected their own favorite mode of transportation but it is clear that a number of these modes are more innovative than others. Nowadays, individuals chose some types of commuting to get to their work, university, school, or even recreational place. But, a number of these modes has been among the most significant transportation innovations of the past two centuries. Subways are one of these innovative methods to commute faster, cheaper, and safer between a specific origin and destination. This mode has been chosen by various groups of individuals and leads to several positive effects on society. The first advantage that I can point to is reducing the traffic that has been produced by cars on the roads and highways. Consequencely, it causes to have an environment-friendly mode of transportation. Because it was proved that the more use of public transportation the less CO2 emissions in the air. Also, commuting with subways can have economical advantages too. For instance, commuting in a specific route by using subways in compared to that route by personal car has been caused eighty percent cheaper. Although, there are some disadvantages such as uncomfortable travels because of crowded hours but in my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In conclusion, undergrounds as one of the most important Innovations, play a crucial role in our lives and most of us can experience a convenient travel by using them. Furthermore, I reckon commuting with public transportation should be culturized and educated around the world.
