Some people believe that it is ok to put the needs of humans over environmental concerns. While others feel that protecting the environment should be prioritized. Discuss both views and what is your opinion?

Different people have different ways of thinking, some folks believe that human life matters more than saving the environment while others believe that saving surroundings must be placed first. I believe that there is a need to have balance between both which I will be elaborating with substantial examples in my essay to follow. Firstly, talking about putting humans ahead of the environment is not a good idea at all. If we do not take care of our surroundings and pollute them that will again come back to us in the source of infections and other diseases. For example, waste coming from industries is polluting our water bodies because of which large numbers of fish are dying. As we are consuming them, an infection is getting transmitted to us. In contrast to the above statement, now if we protect our surroundings by planting more and more trees, preserving our forests and water bodies. It is going to benefit us and we are going to lead a healthy lifestyle, having less pollution, more clean air to breathe and eventually less infections and diseases. For example, Saudi Arabia has taken an initiative to plant 1 million trees over the next three years and studies reveal that it will drop the average temperature to 5 degrees Celsius less than what it is at present. I believe human lives and the environment must be given equal care as both are interdependent. If we pollute our region, we will have an impact on our lives. To conclude, there are many people who think priority must be given to humans over nature. However, we still have the same number of people who think both must go hand in hand to have a healthy lifestyle.
