Urbanization is a global phenomenon that has led to significant changes in society. Why do many people prefer to live in big cities? Is this a positive or negative development?

Over the last few decades, urbanization has radically changed our society. Furthermore, the number of people who have been moving to major cities has increased. In this essay, I will discuss the reasons and argue this phenomenon is negative. To begin with, The reason for this phenomenon is that cities have many advantages. I'm going to describe two of those benefits. First, cities are great places for people to build their careers. Because of the high concentration of people, there are plenty of jobs and a wide variety of experiences. So when people have a purpose, it is easier to accomplish. The second benefit is that the infrastructure is well established. In rural areas, people have difficulty accessing hospitals and transportation. However, cities can enjoy the benefits of densely designed infrastructure faster and more conveniently. So, is this trend positive or negative? From my point of view, urbanization has more negative aspects. As population density has increased, many pollution issues have emerged. The air quality is poor and noise pollution is frequent. It's a problem that will only get worse if people don't act consciously. Traffic jams are also a big problem. It has the advantage of being convenient, but it is also a source of considerable problems. The increase in transportation can also be seen as an increase in carbon, which is a huge environmental burden. To summarize, people were moving to cities because they had access to more careers and quality infrastructure. But this wasn't all good: excessive urbanization was causing many environmental problems. They need to be more conscious about the phenomenon of rural people moving to cities.
