It was believed by the first person who stepped on the moon that it was an important journey towards the change of future for humans. Unlike him, some believe it has no impact in day today life of people to which I have to agree. It is indeed important to explore unseen things in regard to future as the world developes continuously in all aspect which include Science and technology as well. There has definitely been a competition between developed countries to surpass the other in order to show off their money and power. One way of doing this have been by sending men to the moon. However I personally believe that the massive amounts of funds allocated for this purpose could have been put to other uses which demand urgent attention. For example in order to banish poverty from society, this large amount of money could have been of great use. Education in some countries are so expensive that most cannot afford. Some countries suffer from food shortages and in desperation for any kind of helping hand that the world would extend. In conclusion, though I believe that going to the moon is important at one point, There are much needed project that needs funds in the world.
