Currenty, there are several changes in family unit, particularly the organization and responsibilities of each family member. From my notion, I wholly believe in the positiveness of these developed trends. On the one hand, instead of living as an extensive family, individuals tend to live in a nuclear family, including a married couple and their children. It is considered as a fortunate trend due to the fact that the less people reside together, the less conflicts possibly occurre. Undoubtedly, the differences in lifestyle and conception of numerous generations living under a roof make the generations’gap, thus, people, especially adults and youngsters might not feel conveniently when they are at home. For instance, if the young grown-ups are living in a multigenerational family, they nearly can not freely opt the vivid or trendy color for their hair because of the judgements of different members. On the other hand, in terms of family roles, the plain changes is that there are more and more women who contribute to the income of the family. In modern days, no longer are women under responsibilities traditionally reserved for women such as staying at home to do housework and take care children, by contrast, they independently earn living as well as have their bread and butter. Additionally, men are more responsible for household chores, and they subscribe to the fact that these works are also their duty. In this way, it create an opportunity to maintain gender equality both at work and and at home. In addition, males will appriciate and show their gratitude to their mother and their wife. In conclusion, the rise of nuclear families and females participating workforce are major changes. Personally, I totally have the faith that these are beneficial tendencies in family.
