In many countries today, parents are able to choose to send their children to single-sex schools or co-educational schools. Some people think that children going to single-sex schools have disadvantages later in life.To what extent do you agree?

Today in many countries, there are two different types of schooling. Parents have the opportunity to send their children to single-sex schools or co-educational schools. While some people think that children going to single-sex schools have disadvantages later in life, I think that children should be sent single-sex schools until the puberty finished. First times of puberty is a period which children begin feeling as an individual themselves and they try to identify changes of their body and they feel their emotions intensively. Usually children span this period apprehensively and stressfully. They begin meaning and living abstract terms. It will create a derangement in its emotion world and its personality that a child in this period is sent co-educational schools. For instance, the changes in bodies of boys and girls are different in the puberty. After all, a girl who she cannot explain the meaning of these changes in her body and she begins to worry will feel alone and sick herself in a classroom which there are boys as well as because she lives ambivalence, she will begin feeling an innocent emotion such as love in an unbalanced way. As personality of children have been completed and they have recognized themselves, they may be sent co-educational schools when they will get the adulthood. Nowadays in Europe, America and Australia, there is a trend towards single-sex schools. America where there are hundreds of girls’ university and girls’ collage, thanks to academic success of girls’ schools contribute to an intense demand for these schools. Briefly, I think that children should be sent single-sex educational schools until their personality completed. In university period which their personality was completed, they may be sent co-educational schools.
