Hil I've recently started an English course and we're doing a project about learning a foreign language. I know you said you've been studying English and so could you help me? What's the most difficult thing about learning English and what's the easiest? What's the best way to improve your speaking skills? Anyway, it'll be great to hear your experiences and don't forget to let me know how your studies are going.

Hi Adele, thank you for your email, it’s my pleasure to help you. As you said, I’ve been studying English for more than eleven years now and during this long period of time I’ve got through easy and difficult aspects of the language. In my opinion, the easiest thing about English is the grammar, in comparison of other languages like Italian or German, because the declination of the verbs is mostly the same and there are very few particular things we should remember. While the thing that I found the most difficult is the correct pronunciation of the words because sometimes they are written in the same way but have different meaning because of that. So, in my experience, the best way to improve in a language and it’s speaking skills is try to speak in it as much as you can and listen to ted talks/podcasts in English while doing some work or watching movies in English because this little things really help to learn new words and their correct pronunciation. I personally followed all this and now my studies are going really well. Anyway, that’s all for now, Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
