This is an update about Ms. Hoyle who is being discharged today, with a diagnosis of fracture in left arm due to scooter accident. She is being reffered into your service for continuation of care.
January 21, 2015, she came in with a fracture on left arm, which was assessed, dressed and splinted. She is also showing signs of head injury manifesting as disorientation and dizziness, as she hit the conrete despite wearing a helmet.
During her stay, she exhibits pain on injury site and reliance on daily activities.
Presently, good progress is noted, with minimal pain. She is also able to move independently and do activities such as showering by herself.
As a care plan, Paracetamol is given if needed and rest is recommended. It would be greatly appreciated too, if child care assistance is provided as she may find it hard to move just yet.
Ms. Hoyle has a scheduled appointment to her doctor 4 weeks from today.
