Extreme sports such as sky diving and skiing are very dangerous and should be banned. with this view? wBVqm
Adventurous sport activities in today's time are catching big attention amongst the younger generations and people travel Continents to experience such once in lifetime moments. The enthralling experiences have their risks attached and through this essay, I will bring out my points with real examples. People today are highly exposed to the world through the internet, movies, and tourism, the advancement of technology has introduced people to new sports that can be potential of high risk to one's life. For instance, some movies portray the ideology of, "there is no fun in life if there is no risk" and this influences the minds of people to attempt daring sports. One such example of this is, Bollywood movie - Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, it gave a message to the audience that one should try things out of their comfort zone and challenge their inner self-confidence. Motivated by this a guy aged 23 from India, who had height-sickness took the daring challenge to experience sky diving in Spain and this led to his death by shock, fearing that he might fall. Though we know that some sports can be life-threatening, banning risky sports would greatly affect the tourism sector, people travel for such experiences and this would impact the economy of the place, as people would not travel if main attractions were sealed. Undoubtedly, people's life is also important and places which offer dangerous sports activities should take safety precautions, and government should impose strict rules and fining structure if the safety standards are not maintained. In addition to this, people should also be educated about the danger involved in certain sports and how this could affect their health and life so that they can make informed decisions and avoid an adverse situation. In conclusion, we cannot completely stop adventurous sports activities, but we can take the required steps to make people more aware of the risk involved and mitigate the chances of accidents by taking necessary safety precautions.
