Some people think that it is important for children to have some lessons outside the classroom, for example, by visiting local companies and public buildings. GMRBe
It is argued by some that it is essential for the kids to experience outside lessons. I completely agree with this opinion and in this essay I will state the reasons for my view.
The most compelling reason for holding on my view is that external sessions can be an effective way for the students to gain more exposure. This is because the students can learn the life of a working adult and develop more insights about any future careers that they wish to pursue. For example, by going to career workshops, the students will be able to learn on how to build their own career at an early age. They will expose to various job opportunities and also, gives them a better understanding about the work environment that they are going to embark in the future.
Another reason for my position is that outside lessons provide students a chance to create quality networking. They will need to socialize with the people around them in order to gain more understanding of the lesson. For instance, by attending to external workshops, they will be introduced to a number of other learners that might be from a various age. This will give them a great opportunity to make quality friends and pick up new information at the same time.
Lastly, it can improve the students’ self- development as with the amount of exposure that they can get, they will be able to learn to socialize better and understand the lifestyle of a working adult. The students will tend to observe and listen as they learn. Along the way, they will start to adjust their mentality to prepare for their adult life.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the opinion that exposing students to external workshops is vital. This is due to the fact of the impact that it can provide to the students such as increasing quality networking, expose to new knowledge and improve their personal development. Given this situation, it is recommended that school should encourage students to attend external lessons or conduct one in school.
