nowadays, after-school activities, late workdays, long commutes - it’s no wonder few families eat dinner together. However, studies show that family dinner is an important part of living. Spending time with the family has benefits for both parents and their children. Family dinners offer a valuable opportunity to connect with one another, share about our days, and teach social graces. The children usually tell their parents their favorite part of the day. At the moment, their parent can find out what their kids are thinking. Family meals provide an opportunity for family members to come together, strengthen ties and build better relationships. They build a sense of belonging which leads to better self-esteem. Dinner time pushes my mother to make a healthier dinner as she knows we will be sitting down together. She guesses there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing people she loves tucking into something she has cooked by herself. The study authors note that regular family contact facilitates more potential guidance and open communication between kids and their parents. The Family Table should be a fun, welcoming space. It’s not a place for stress, arguments and grilling kids about their grades. But if we put too much pressure on all that family dinners are supposed to be, it can start to become a tension-filled time rather than a joyful one. Some parents usually watch tv and make their children follow somebody's example on TV. It can start to become a tension-filled time rather than a joyful one. But after everything, the parents always want the best for their children. In a nutshell, i think eating dinner with family can product a close-knit family.
