Nowadays, technological developments are pushing back thefrontiers of the cutting-edge gadgets innovated on a yearly basis. This leads to the claim that a new ecosystem has emerged between devices, where information can be easily transferred from one device to another. It is intensely thought by some that technological advancements achieved in the past are more practical and efficient than those accomplished today. I confidently endorse the opposite point of view. The major reason why I take this position is that people who encounter new technologies in every moment of life utilize the merits of those, all of which are considered as utilitarian items. For instance, novel technological pieces of equipment have aided people in a variety of ways, including learning, communication, entertainment activities, industrialization, space exploration, discovering untrodden paths of the world, as well as in computing several calculations that are unbearable for ordinary individuals to carry them out with great accuracy and certainty. In addition to this, technological accomplishments of the modern era enrich people’s lives, and hence generate better circumstances by means of which they are able to stay tightly connected to a constantly changing society. Admittedly, people opt for better life-enhancing approaches to improve their standards of living, and in this way, they are more likely to become easily adjusted to our fast-paced world. As regards other striking applications of technological progress, space exploration is the final frontier for mankind and this industry is just coming into existence. To cite an example, the negative impact of global mass tourism renders the search for new destinations inevitable. Therefore, technological advances make up a crucial and vital part in the way of thwarting bad consequences of this task. Another convincing argument is that space exploration more efficiently deals with the overpopulation crisis which has emerged as a big detriment to states’ natural resources, fostering its further reduction in amount. To be more explicit, with depleting natural resources space exploration is the only alternative in the future and is quite justifiable. In summary, considering the afore mentioned reasons, I somehow agree that the latest attainments in different sectors of technology improve the progressiveness of the globe.
