Describe the information about the cinema attendance by age in Great Britain EWQ
In general, around 16% of people aged 15 to 24 in Great Britain went to the cinema, the next group was children between 7 and 14 years old with the percentage of 10, and the proportion of people who fall into the 25 to 35 age group and over 35 were lower, around 4% and 1% respectively. Within 15 years from 1984 to 1999, the number of people who came to the cinema of four groups all remarkably fluctuated, except the oldest group which increased gradually to around 11%. There was a downward fluctuation in the proportion of cinema attendance by age group from 15 to 24, rose about 43% at around 59% in 1999. Similarly, the youngest group and people who belong to the 25 to 35 age group also fluctuated downwards at approximately 37% and 25% respectively. In the last year of the period shown in the graph, the percentage of people from 25 to 35 and over 35 who went to the cinema climbed but the latter group was still the lowest point, nearly 14% in 2000. In contrast, the rest tended to reduce from 1999 to 2000; however, youngsters between 15 and 24 years old still got the highest point, at around 53%.
