The bar charts illustrate the dwellers of Charlestown weight assessed on four classifications, underweight, ideal weight, overweight, and obesity, in two different years, one in 1955 and after five decades in 2015. Overall, people underweight and ideal weight fluctuated in 1955; however, it had considerably declined in 2015. Moreover, the prevalence of obesity and overweight increased in the 50-69 age group in five decades, while it had the lowest proportion in the former year. Firstly, most of the inhabitants who maintained the weight belonging to the age group 20-29, which were similar in both periods, accounted for approximately 70%. However, it was slightly declining in the rest of the age groups from 30-69 and reached the lowest level of 48% in the year 1955. Meanwhile, in 2015, citizens with ideal weight had sharply decreased to roughly 50% in the 30-39 age group, and the lowest of 3% with the age group 60-69. Secondly, in 1955, obesity was not seen in 20-39 aged people; moreover, people became obese from 40 years, and the highest percent of it can be seen in the age group 50-59 with 10%. On the contrary, obesity had increased steeply, and the highest rate accounted for 60% in the age group 60-69 in 2015. Lastly, underweight residents were raised in 1955 and lowest among 30-59 age range in 2015 with merely 1%.
