Computer and advance communication technology make it easier to work from home instead of going to the workplace every day. I believe that this kind of changes in workplace is better for workers and employers. Therefore working from home should be encouraged to use in companies.
For the first reason, harmful environment, exposing ourselves to the public place and closed area with many people is proved to be dangerous and risky for getting infected. The best example was the current situation where people all around the world are facing with corona virus. In this kind of special circumstance it’s supported to work from home and don’t interact and limit our interaction with other people face to face outside.
For the second reason, the price of land rise higher every year and begin to be extremely expensive especially in some countries with small land like island countries. The increase of price causes the land to become more valuable, so naturally the land owners want to make the most profit out of it. In the future the use of offices buildings will fall down, company will let their employees to work from home instead to lessen the cost of the offices and use the area for something else.
Finally, being at home make people feel more comfortable and relax, effecting the quality of work to be higher. Also being at home means we allowed to wear casual clothes and gain more time which is previously deducted from traveling to the office.
In conclusion, I believe that working from home is a certain thing in the future. For many reason, working in the office will be lessen more and more as long as the employees’ working efficiency will not decrease and maintain the company’s standard.
