Most people in the world think that nowadays, people spend a lot on clothing in order to improve their image. Personally, I believe that this concept is true. I feel this way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, if we don't spent money and want to wear anything even though those clothes are not beautiful and expensive, we will be laughed by the people who are pretty wealthy and feeling proud of themselves a lot and we can't attain social standing. My personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. When I was in high school, there was a party which my friend did for her birthday. So, as she was my friend, I decided to go there. Unfortunately, I ruined my dress by pouring the tea so I couldn't wear that pretty dress and I had to wear the one which is not nice-looking and cheaper than the ruin one. Then I went there. When I arrived, the people were looking at me and talking each other. Then, my friend came and looked me with a shy face and she asked me to go back home because I wore an old, cheap and unattractive dress. I was too red in face and ran away from that party. Since that time, I believe that the appearance is important and we need to spend money for that. If not, we are jokers for them to laugh and we can't get social standing.
Furthermore, if we don't spend money, people will think like do we have money or are we poor. I can't stan with like those kinds of thoughts. For instance, while I was going shopping with my friends and their parents, I didn't buy a lot because I wanted to save money. But then, one of the parents asked me if I had enough money or not and I was poor. At that time, I was quite mad and I bought a great number of clothes in front of them. They were so annoying and they thought I can't buy them before I purchase nothing.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that spending money for clothing in order to get better look is true for the people. This is because if we don't pay out, we can't attain social standing and we are a shame for them because of wearing unlovely clothes and people will think that we are in a beggarly situation so we can't buy them, what we can do is that just looking around the shop or market by purchasing nothing.
