In recent times, children are being given more freedom in all aspects of their life as compared to few decades before. Freedom plays an utmost part in shaping children’s personality and future. I will discuss the merits and demerits of given statement and give my opinion.
It is a fact that freedom plays an outstanding and powerful role in children life. They can express their point of views and feelings and certain likes or dislikes which is a fundamental right, which in return builds a confident and self aware personality. Freedom gives a feeling of sense of control to children that they can explore and choose their paths, hence they discover new things and build skills and versatility.
As there are loads of awesome advantages, however it a fact that there is a negative side to it as well. Giving children freedom at young age can result in adverse circumstances. . Children quit their studies and engage in bad crowd, drugs as well as attempt dangerous things just for fun. They disgrad their parents and turn out to be impolite and ungracious. Without constraint, children end up being victim of unmonitored social media usage and unfortunately some even land up to death or accidents.
At times they may feel suffocated, neglected as well as unable to make their life decisions but to save them from the awkful incidents is more important.
From my point of view, freedom is a right as well as very essential to build children life however excessive or unneccesary freedom for children is of no use considering dreadful experiences influence entire existence of children.
