Nowadays, some people may think that someone a successful person should be so wealthy. However, other people may think that a successful person should contribute to society. This essay will discuss both these views and it will then provide my opinions for them. Firstly, some people can become successful person as they may rely on their parents who are so rich. If some of them were so lucky that they were born in a wealthy family, they would not need to contribute to society due to their parents who used the money to assist them. Lee Ka Shing's son was a good example of being a successful person from his wealthy family. Furthermore, other people can become successful person due to winning mark six or other lucky draws. For example, some people who are so lucky sometimes can win mark six and then become a wealthy person without any efforts. In other words, not only it depends on whether their parents are rich enough or not but also their luck, On the other hand, other people can rely on themselves to become successful person even though they come from a poverty family. Some people who are poor are so aggressive to do their best in their works and education in order to achieve their goal as being a successful person. For instance, they may be doing a full-time job and a part-time job at the same time as they need to support their family. Another example is that someone who is still a student may sometimes do the part-time job such as tutor and 7-11 sales while they are studying in the university. As their parents are not affordable or they may have a financial problem, they cannot be depending on the parents and at that time they can only do contribute to society. Andy Lau who came from a poor family is a good example of being a successful and famous person. In conclusion, there are no pros and cons in this topic based on the above discussion. However, we should not overlook that being a successful person is not only depending on money and luck sometimes. In my opinion, diligence and effort are very important to everyone who wants to become a successful person. It's simple that success does not have any shortcuts.
