Billions of dollars are spent on space research. This is a waste of money. More money must be spent on improving the problems of people on Earth. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that there are a lot of money which were spent on research about the outer space. I believe that this is wasting money and those dollars ought to be paid for human’s issues. On the one hand, promoting people’s problems is an important thing that everybody needs to concentrate on. From the environmental perspectives, the increasing of pollution affects directly to the life of individuals. Environmental damages are the concerns of not only the government but also ordinary people. For example, water was contaminated by the waste from power plants and households without any treatments so there will be no clean water for residents to use on a daily basis. Therefore, the authorities need to give suitable solutions to reduce these issues for the benefits of people. From the social aspects, many people, especially the young commit crimes in these days. They can be in an argument, and they solve it by violence, illegal acts or even crimes. As a result, they need to be educated about how those actions influence and destroy their life. On the other hand, wasting money too much on space research might not help to enhance individuals’s lives. Firstly, not everyone can have enough knowledge about the outer space and stars. While researchers spend time and money on investigation about the solar, other people do not know the reasons why the universe can exist. This leads to many controversial opinions and different arguments that will never end. Futhermore, the astronauts might be in dangerous when they go outside the Earth. Some risky situations may happen such as lack of foods, drinks, low levels of oxygen, or even getting lost in the vastness of the outer space when they try to explore outside their rocket if they do not prepare carefully the equipments. Subsequently, these studies can result in health troubles so they must be very careful without any mistakes. In conclusion, I totally agree with the statement that money should be spent more on the concerns of the humanities rather than on those experiments for the universe.
