Nowadays congestion and traffic jams are a common and major problem in most cities. Some people believe it is a good idea to construct wider roads to resolve this issue. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? What can be the solution, in your opinion?

In the modern time, problems of traffic congestion has increased rapidly in civilized city. A group of individuals think that to tackle this issue, government should construct wider Road. I completely agree with this statement and some remedies can also take to solve these problems, both the aspects are discussed further. The foremost argument is justified my stand is that there are number of roads are constructed in cities, which make transportation in easy way. However, the wide range of roads are limited. Because of this, it creates the problems of high traffic congestion. For example, Navsari city has facing the issue of traffic jam, because roads width are almost eight to ten meters. Moreover, if the authorities invest high amount of budget to construct the wider roed, it would be highly chances to minimise the problem. Therefore, it is facile for every individual to transport in a city's. However, there are a number of another solutions, which can solve this problem. The first and the foremost is that increasing tax on a personal vehicles and upgrade the public transportation. To elaborate, high taxation can force the people to less use of personal vehicles and because of better facilities people would prefer public transportation. For example, according to the survey of UK university, almost 75% of London population use buses and trains rather than personal cash due to government policy. Therefore, government do not need to invest higher amount of money to construct road and overbridge. To conclude, although constructs the wider roads, a few traffic problems can be solve; however, I believe that to solve all traffic congestion issue, only high taxation and use public transportation play a significant role, which can help to country's economic development.
