art is important or not? what could be done to encourage people to take interest in the arts?

Education is considered to be impediment part to survive in this highly competitive world. Some people think that art is an essential part of education but other may disagree. The first school of thought says that art is an equally important subject as other subjects. Art is a simplest way to express someone's approach. Art reflects the cultural and traditional aspect. People convey different social messages through their art work such as giving peaceful message to the world, show happiness in one's life etc. Moreover, it brings creativity and playing with colours help in refreshing the human brains, so art is helpful in making people's life better in this stressful era. The second of thought says that art is not that important as the other subjects are because people think that in this merciless world, one cannot survive if he doesn't have a good income. Field other than art such as science, technology and business have a vast vision and after getting the professional degree, one can get a good job. In the said fields, people think that these are more helpful in innovation, creativity and one can do far better than in art. Both the school of thoughts have their pros and cons and are true at their stance. Art should be funded by the government and seminars must be held for this purpose to aware the people about the importance of this subject in life. But in my opinion, benefits of having art as a subject are more than not having it because money is not everything, So I support the first school of thought.
