The table below gives information about the participation of 11-14 year-olds by gender in extreme sports in the UK in 2003 qWG
The table below shows the information about extreme sports such as mountain biking, snowboarding, mountain climbing, skateboarding and rollerblading from 11-14 year-olds participated in by males and females in the UK in 2003. The table compares data about males and females in extreme sports. Overall, a smaller proportion of females took part in extreme sports. However, there is rollerblading, where there is a smaller amount of males. Mostly, the amount of boys is about two times bigger than the number of girls. Lastly, the biggest per cent of participants is 26, 6%, which is for rollerblading. The opposite situation is with snowboarding, which is only 6, 1%. In addition, snowboarding has the smallest proportion of males and females separately. Despite the fact that rollerblading has the biggest amount in total, the biggest percentage of boys is for skateboarding, which takes second place in total. Nevertheless, the smallest gap between males and females participation is for mountain climbing, where the percentage of males is 10, 6% and the percentage of females is 9, 3%.
