Describe a process of purifying the water and converting it into the drinking kind

The given diagram provides the information about the water filter construction and the process of water purification. As much as it is observable, the whole process consists of three stages, resulting in the access to the pure drinking water. Firstly, the lid, covering the top of the water filter, is lifted so the impure water can be poured into the pictured reservoir from a vessel. Therefore, the following steps of the process are stimulated. Once the water is inside the filter, the step of purification occurs. The water has to undergo three layers of the filtration, which offer various treatment degrees, in the given order: sand, charcoal and gravel. During the course of this stage, the water disposes of contaminated particles, chemicals and toxins, so the treated liquid is presumed to become accessible. Subsequently, the purified water, qualified as potable, is sent through the pipe, connected to the bottom of the filter, to the drinking water storage tank, where it is being preserved for the later domestic use and is available via the tap, linked to the external side of the water filter.
