Modernization and globalization have made increasing progress in the fashion industry. It is said that buying fashionable clothes will not benefit an individual as it is not necessary to wear new clothes all the time, Thus it should be bought and used wisely. Personally, I agree with this
Firstly, it must be considered that majority of population are not in the fashion field and compulsion on wearing new outfits everyday is not mandatory. For instance, for a layman occasions to wear new apparels is considerably less, than any fashion enthusiast, hence purchasing new clothes is not essential. In addition, preference of comfortable clothes is higher than trendy clothes on daily basis as many errands has to be done, without having a feeling of uneasiness.
Secondly, One must make wiser decisions while acquiring new pieces of the clothes. Clothes from Fast fashioned brands can be avoided, which serves poor quality clothes at high end prices. Not only they have short lifespan but also it highly pollutes the environment as most of it has tiny plastic particles, which cannot be recycled. Moreover, certain clothes can be cat fished and styled in various ways, thus creating an elevated look.
