Opinions are divided on whether the public spaces should be used for economic benefit or a green environment. I believe that empty lands should be constructed into leisure playgrounds instead of being built as new factorial facilities.
Granted, building more factories and buildings brings a huge revenue for the nation’s economy. This is because the government could earn money from those structures by working, making new accommodations for residents. To illustrate, if public parks are converted into residents’ households, the price of the market will go down and people could afford to buy a house. However, this could lead to a big problem to the environment, the more infrastructure is built, the more damage to the human’s respiratory system. Health is more valuable than benefits and might be more expensive to cure than making profits from building commercial establishments.
