All students are entitled to tertiary education
All students are entitled to tertiary education nGJwl
It is sometimes argued that all students are entitled to tertiary education. In regard to this viewpoint, providing free university education is a crucial right of every student. In contrast, I completely disagree with the aforementioned idea.
There are several reasons why some people think that university tuition fees should be fully paid by governments. Firstly, all students, regardless of their financial conditions, will be eligible to enter university. Higher education such as university education has an important role to play in helping youngsters pursue their goals in their future. Acquiring a bachelor’s degree enables students to have increasing access to job opportunities; therefore, they can enjoy better quality of life. Furthermore, there will be a more well - trained workforce for society. This simultaneously improves economic efficiency, which leads to the prosperity of the economy as well as a civilized society.
On the other hand, I strongly believe that it is beneficial to require tuition fees for higher education. To begin with, students’ payment for the fees contribute to increasing national budgets so that the government can allocate money for important sectors and provide public services such as medical care and schooling, whereas financial crisis in the long run, even bankruptcy can be linked in part to governments making all free from governments. This action from governments can offer assistance to people, and who are living in poverty and relying on government incentives and alternative sources of financial support in particular; besides, infrastructure investment helps enhance the quality of such public services. In addition, governments can address issues about salaries of lecturers which have been widely controversial.
In conclusion, despite the advantages of covering university education for all students, it seems to me that governments should not be completely responsible for students’ tuition fees.
