Academic excellence and potential for academic excellence

My academic performance in architecture department reflects my commitment and efforts. In my undergraduate stage, I noticed that I was attracted to courses that develop students' creative skills, use modern software, and raise awareness of sustainable development and environmental preservation. I had a good relation with all my professors and teaching members who helped me a lot to understand and recognize all courses data perfectly. All my attempts to achieve excellence are represented in my course results as for example I had very good grade in many courses such as future architecture, renewable energy in buildings, applied research, the beauty science & art criticism and concepts of modern architecture. I had excellent grade at my graduation project which is considered the most important design project in undergraduate according to its scale, complexity and jury discussion from internal and external examiners committee. personally speaking, the excellence in my study will not be achieved without a self-study from my side. In order to achieve academic excellence in my undergraduate courses I was not only satisfied with relying on the information that I obtained from my courses’ professors, but also, I relied on self-study to complete this information and learn more about the subject under study. During my undergraduate stage, I attended many courses outside my curriculum to fulfill the gap issues between my courses and new digital architecture trends in the world. These courses were mainly focused in software applications used in architecture such as AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3ds max. After I had finished my undergraduate stage, I awarded a certificate for attending BIM track from a reputable and certified center with attending hours equals 156 hours. This certified BIM track title was BIM construction technical office architect in which I studied BIM introduction, modeling, and project documentations using Revit, Navisworks. Beyond any doubt, my academic performance and self-study attitude will encourage and support me in my chosen course at NTU. I enhanced my experiences with many additional courses and certificates to enlarge the pool of my background in this field to position myself in a class that enables me to receive high levels of knowledge and education in this field through the course I have chosen, which will then enable me to achieve the highest levels of educational attainment in it and achieve excellence in it.
