People are living longer. Some people think that it causes big problems. Others, however, think the aging population has many advantages for business, government and for society in general. Discuss both views & give your own opinion pEJdD
Nowadays, many people convinced that elderly population is the onerous problem, whilst other imposes that these crowd can bring substantial assets to society as a whole. However, this trend brings a mixed bag of both boons and bans which will be discussed in the upcoming paragraph.
On the one hand, it is inevitable fact that growing aged society has some negative consequence for some reasons. Firstly, aging crowd can urge a heavy pressure on economy and health care system, along with this as more people retire heavier the pension burden state has to carry. In addition to that, if higher retirement age then they will in the job market for the longer period of time and this will highly affect on younger's job opportunities. Moreover, there is lacking of land for agriculture as government constructed old age homes for elders. For instance, around 738 old age homes have been established in India.
On the other hand, despite above-said disadvantages there are numerous benefits of having old age public around us which cannot be underestimated. Firstly, they are like traditional knowledge museum, who always pass on their experience with the younger once. Naturally, understanding something by trial and error is just a waste of time, instead of this old people who already passed the same could give us best advice. For example, new scientist collects the reference from the former scientists to invest modern theory.
To conclude, advantages of having aged community in society outweigh its disadvantages. As I am concerned older people are ignored by the youths instead of finding benefits from them.
