Numerous steps have been taken by nations to address challenges with respect to the environment but the condition can not be better. In my opinion there are many reasons for environmental degradation and the state has to make strict laws and regulations for every citizen. Whosoever caught doing wrong with respect to environment would be fined and sent to jail for a certain period. Initially each and every country should evaluate their provinces and people residing in it. Furthermore degradation of environment is a global issue and problem faced by everyone. Firstly the main reason for decline is emission of harmful gases from the vehicles which in turn leads to greenhouse effect and the gases mainly responsible for that are carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrate and many more as well as these are responsible for rise in temperature of earth and uneven climate change also leads to acid rain which is harmful for soil, land and marble. For example Taj Mahal in Agra made of white marble but yellowing of marble is due to acid rain. Any country government can make rules regarding use of less harmful chemicals and making environment friendly vehicles and use of CNG over petrol and diesel. Furthermore cutting down of forest at large scale for industrial and residential purposes is another important reason of deterioration which can only be overcome by spreading awareness among people about importance of forests and trees as well as cutting affects fauna. Additionally making use of harsh chemicals I. e, fertilisers and pesticides in farms for better production leads to decline in soil nutrients that can be rise only when people replace the chemicals with natural fertilisers which make product better and also helps in maintaining the nutrients of soil. For instance an organisation based in the United States conducted a survey in almost 25 countries and find out that in every nation usage of chemicals and cutting down of trees for urbanisation is same. In conclusion, it is correct to say that to protect the environment from further degradation the organisation or the government of every nation should make strict laws and take actions on it. As well as run awareness campaigns for the people.
