In this day and age, technology is more and more common in human’s life. Robots are technology of production which people use everyday. In this essay, I am going to discuss both views, benefits and drawbacks of this trend.
On the one hand, there are two benefits behind this trend. First of all, robots will help people do household chores so that people can save time to take care of themselves and family. For example, if I have a robot, it can help my mother do housework when I learn at school all day. My mother will reduce the burden of work and family a lot, thus she has more time for herself and family. Moreover, the generation gap in each other will reduce. Secondly, in industry, robots shall help owners increase the productivity and decrease human forces, because robots never get sick or need rest.
On the other hand, there is one drawback for using robots in both daily life and production. It is clear that robots are expensive, this is because people do not have enough money, so they can not invest in these devices. For instance, insteading of buying a dishwasher I can pay 30. 000. 000 VND, I will wash dishes by myself to save money to do other important activities.
To sum up, it is clear that robots have many benefits in daily life and production because of two reasons. However, in my perspective, I think that robots can not replace people in some important fields, so people should decide to buy robots carefully.
