Because of Covid-19 numerous employees are choosing to work from the distance. I will discuss a number of pros and cons associated with this issue in the following paragraphs. The main advantages of working online are safety and flexible working hours. Firstly, when people avoid from crowded places such as offices, factories and social organizations, they are not at risk of infecting the patient. Consequently, working from home can contribute to prevent the virus from spreading among the citizens. That is to write, most governments are offering their population to isolate themselves. Moreover, working from distance can provide workers with convenient working timetables. Due to the fact, they will save their time and manage to deal with other tasks. For instance, the time spent on commuting can be saved and this enables them to arrange their working day according to their will. Thus, the safety and flexible working hours are considered to be the major benefits of working online. The basic drawbacks are as follows: problems with connection and workers may become soulless towards each other. As the quality of internet connection is not sustainable in all parts of the countries, people will face to a plethora of difficulties to work from home. Especially, perfect connection is not available in rural areas. Furthermore, working via computers can make the staff soulless since they do not meet each other in person. This may cause to some neurotic diseases. This is mainly because the productivity of work can be decreased. In conclusion, working online can supply employees with a number of advantages in a pandemic lockdown while it has some disadvantages.
