Dear sir,
I’m Sagar Sakkari, pursuing my higher studies in Bangalore University. I am an Art’s student and recently the advertisement published in the newspaper caught my eye. It says, there is a job opening in the city museum shop, I was little intrigued by the idea of me working in the museum during my holidays, so I have decided to apply for this job.
Although I am student, I have been a keen learner, listener of history and enjoyed being to museums. Also, I have an experience of working in a shop before. And besides, artifacts and designs interest me and in a way find them much appealing and attractive for it is very subtle. The delicacy and precision with which the artifacts and other inventories in the museum are transformed from raw material to finished product is indeed a subtle art of display of fine workmanship.
Further, I am good with my communication and can very well explain the concepts and history of those arts. Therefore, I find myself to be fit enough to spend my holidays while working in your museum. Kindly approve my request. I am looking forward to hearing from you in the future.
