Negative effects of fossil fuel on the environment

Negative effects of fossil fuel on the environment gN3
One of the most serious issues is facing air pollution on our planet. The main reason for this that the majority of the energy needed to propel our vehicles, power our companies, and keep the lights on in our homes has been provided by burning fossil fuels. As fossil fuels are burned, toxic compounds such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere by fuels such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas. The particular reason for this circumstance is burning fossil fuels produces a variety of air pollutants that are dangerous to the atmosphere and public health. In addition, when fossil fuels burned they produce large quantities of carbon dioxide. The use of fossil fuels has a negative impact on the atmosphere. They cause obvious problems, such as the release of harmful gases into the atmosphere. By burning fossil fuels, greenhouse gases, for example, enabled the spread of toxic gases in the air. Buildings, plants, human life, and animals are all harmed as a result of this. According to (HEGGIE, 2020), “ Coal accounts for 44 percent of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions, with nearly two billion tons a year emitted from coal plants in the U. S. alone. “. It is important that steps be taken to combat these issues. Fossil fuels causing air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. This has sped up the growth of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal, which don't produce greenhouse gases as they generate electricity. The most effective alternative for powering the earth without damaging the atmosphere is renewable energy. We must ensure that renewable energy replaces fossil fuels and implement a long term strategy that is healthier and more affordable. To sum up everything that has been stated, When fossil fuels are burned, carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are released, trapping heat in our atmosphere and making fossil fuels the primary cause of air pollution and public health. We suggest to replaces fossil fuels with renewable energy to provide our planet with a more salubrious lifestyle.
