The given bar graph enumerates the percentage of money spent on three categories by British of different ages in 2004. Overall it is clear that total spending on food and drinks had the highest numbers, regardless of age, whilst the expenditure on restaurants and hotels along with entertainment fluctuated considerably with significant differences in groups consisting of older people.
It could be plainly viewed that all three categories were relatively similar in groups of people under 60, except for young adults and their substantial interest in restaurants and hotels with a percentage of almost 15.
As can be noticeable, in terms of people aged 61 and above, Entertainment experienced a 10% leap in comparison to a 46-60 group, although Restaurant and Hotel category deteriorated by roughly the same percentage, conceiving an extensive contrast of approximately 15%.
