Dear Peter, I hope you are doing well and staying upbeat. Words in this letter do not do enough justice to express how sorry I feel for not being able to show-up as we planned last month. From the depths of my heart, I express my sincerest apologies for not only cancelling our catch-up due to unavoidable circumstances, but also not being able to tell you well in advance. Of course, this mix-up deserves an explanation; and the resaon I could not travel was because the conference where I planned to deliver a keynote address cancelled, abruptly, mainly because of a stiff between the sponsers and the organizers. The meet-up was scheduled for three consequetive days, so all the bookings had to be adjusted. I had to take care of most of it; swamped by this episode, I was buried neck-deep in work and could not come to Berlin at all. That being said, I feel delighted to confirm that the conference will come back to your town next quarter with new set of sponsers. I still don't have the dates yet, but my visit to your city is inevitable and I'm planning one extra day for us to meet, go shopping and watch movies. I shall update you when I have more information. Meanwhile take good care of yourself, cannot wait to meet you, my man! Warm regards, Harsh
