That is why various governments are considering a range of policies for supporting people, who have decided to start a family. However, this help of authorities can lead both positive and negative outcomes.
Firstly, every baby is unique and needs personal attention. A stay-at-home parent has opportunity to spend enough time with a daughter or a son and to understand offspring emotions, to teach how to act in the hard occasions and to give practical knowledge. It’s obvious, that no one babysitter is ready to do the same in the equal measure. For example, my niece is more confidant and clever than her classmates in school, maybe, because she didn’t go to kindergarten and my sister-in-law dedicated all time for her first six years upbringing. Financial support from the government can be a cornerstone for next talented and smart generations.
On the other hand, this policy would be eroded for poor counties with overpopulation. Such regions are famous because of their low level of development in medicine, education, infrastructure, and payments for childcare would make improvement in these issues slower. For instance, in India people live in huge extended families with more than five kids and suffer from the shortage of hygiene and food. In other words, these areas ought to decrease the birth indicators and innovate cities by opening new working places for further well-being.
To conclude, the governmental financial support has advantages and disadvantages like a lot of others social decisions. It would be grateful for spouses who intend to educate their children at home and provide a breadwinner role only for a one parent.
