Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the reason of missing my flight on Saturday the 15th of August. I was on my way to the immigration center, where I had a collision with a gentleman and all my documents fell on the ground. I was in a rush, I quickly gathered my documents and went to the immigration officer. Later, they wanted my invitation card which i could not find. In the meantime I heard you airline last call thus, I could not board.
My Flight to L. A was for my brother’s graduation ceremony. For which i have been saving money and time from a long time. Being the only sibling left in his family, my attendance is precious to him. Also, I was able to find the lost invitation card that very day but, no flights to my destination from your airline were available.
Therefore, as I still have time in hand for the occasion. I would request your airline to arrange me a flight tomorrow. I hope you understand my situation.
