My name is Esra and I am writing to you about the postdoctoral position.
The starting date was mentioned as September 2021 yet, I had the impression that the position might not be filled yet. Since there is no postdoctoral researcher on the Social Identity Lab website I was wondering whether the position is still open. If so I would be very much interested in the position. I finished my PhD in social psychology and I have been working on repetition of stereotypes in the context of social identity and minimal group paradigm. I visited Social Cognition Center of Cologne in 2020 and worked with Christian Unkelbach on repetition effects and its discriminatory consenquences. Our paper was just accepted by the European Journal of Social Psychology. I received my masters from University of Birmingham.
I am looking for a position where I can gain more experience on stereotypes and social identity research. I believe I could be a good fit in your Social Identity lab.
