Due to effects of globalisation, the cultures of some countries are influenced by others. Some people think this is a natural process. Others think this is a threat to cultural identity. What is your opinion about this? kjGJK
In this age of globalisation, the cultures of few countries have impacted other cultures. hence, some people argued that cross-culture bring significant benefits and others claim that this process could be warning for negative impact on national culture. previous to rendering my view lets take a look on both sides.
Firstly, the modern technology is going vast day by day. because of the internet we can access culture of any countries with different media like, music, films, dramas, etc. For example, nowadays, Korean dramas is popular in many countries. people really like to follow there culture of fashion, food and language. secondly, in this modern technology era social media plays important role in globalisation. most of people spend lot of time using digital networks for communication with online world wide friends. because of this they learn each others customs and it will help to improve their knowledge about other countries culture.
On the other side, there are several reasons to believe that globalization is a negative process. one of the main reason is due to cross-culture native people adopting other cultures and they forgot their own traditional values of their countries. hence, following other countries culture leads to fading of there own customs. therefore, cultural globalisation has a negative impact on national customs.
in conclusion, globalisation could be a threat to cultural identity however, impact of positive idea is more important than negative impact. I strongly believed this is a natural process. it is always good to collect more knowledge about all cultures rather than stuck in only their own customs.
