The data below shows a simple survey conducted to 100. 000 people in the UK regarding travelling abroad during 1994-1998. As we can see, except the small descending in 1995, the total abroad visiting in the next several years are continuously increasing. The most purpose of abroad visit is holiday, which is descendingly followed by business, visiting friends and relatives, and others.
The most destination visited during 1994-1998 is still within the Europe continent, which is Western Europe. Followed by North America, and other areas. From here, we can conclude that probably because of back then flight is not as popular as the present, therefore people still choose to travel within continent, considering about the flight ticket price and distance.
