What is the issue about pay gap?

Some countries are known extreme salaries which they pay. Although many people find that it is incentive for other and it is good for a country in many ways, others are of the opposite view. In my opinion, high salaries are not a problem for a country providing that they do not undermine the sense of justice. Some people believe that high salaries are important to encourage people work hard. It increases productivity, because high salaries are an incentive for others to be more productive. When skilled and talented people are paid high salaries, they are rewarded and detered regarding leaving a country. It is clear that it creates a competition among employees, but also it contributes the country’s economy. Thus, it can be a measurement of wealth for a country. In addition, Since high salaries cannot be paid where there is no money, this is an indicator of wealth for a country. On the other hand, Opponents claim that the government is responsible for be treated equally to all citizens. According to them, Government must guarantee that wealth is evenly distributed. Extreme pay gaps undermine the sense of unity and equality within the country. To prevent it, the most efficient way is limiting high salaries, thus, it would bring more equality among people. Besides, they believe that limiting high salaries will mean more funding for public services which is beneficial for all people in society. In brief, while some believes high salaries is good, others don’t accept it. In fact, both of those side have their share of truth. However, i believe that as soon as government provide a balance and justice about pay gap, high salaries might not be a problem for countries.
