An army of people claim that the best way to educate the school student about the jeopardy of breaking the law is creating more conversation between students and the former prisoners who become genuine people later. From my perspective, I agree with this viewpoint for several reasons, which will be outlined in this piece of writing. There are several reasons why students should learn and understand about the disadvantages or the dangers of offending a crime from ex-convicts. Firstly, it is the fact that the life story of each former convicts can be more attractive and convey deeply than theories taught in school. Because former convicts are people who have committed crimes and experienced rehabilitation, becoming good citizens in the present, they can tell students about the sense of guilt and the remorse. For example, ex-prisoners can tell students about how they commit a crime, the harsh life in prison and the life after prison. Therefore, the students can understand deeply about the jeopardy of offences and timely stay away from criminal activities as much as possible. Another reason is that this is the good idea for ex-prisoners to ease their burden by telling their lives to others. Obviously, the life after prison of former convicts is not easy, they will turn a new page of life with some prejudices and pressure in many aspects of life. For example, about finding jobs, employers have a tendency to refuse people with a criminal record who have limited education, limited skills and they have to deal with difficulties in supporting themselves and their families. As the result, ex-prisoners are understood and the students will have more intuitive views of the harmful effects of crime. In conclusion, I strongly believed that ex-convicts who become good people later, are the people can prevent juvenile delinquency.
