From the overall perspective it is readily apparent that this process is caused and exacerbated by several reasons and mainly human activities are the main determinator.
According to the pictorial it is explicitly seen that some energy produced by the sun is reflected off our atmosphere. On the other hand a significant portion of heat which comes from the sun is trapped by greenhouse gases instead of being radiated into space again. These greenhouse gases are mainly the byproducts of fossil fuels like – gas, oil, coal and so forth. These fossil fuels are the main energy resource for transportation and manufacturing, as well as industry sector. The cars and factories produce excessively exhaust fumes as waste product. Then this fumes (carbon dioxide, methane and the like) catch the sun energy and prevents it from returning back to atmosphere. Furthermore, illegal logging and desertification triggers dire consequences as trees are not able to absorb greenhouse gases.
