It's so nice hearing from you, I'm glad you got the new job that you have to travel for business. I'm sure you will discover a lot of new things and travel to plenty of countries. I hope we can spend some time together and catch up.
While you are here, in Barcelona, there are a lot of things you sure can't miss! You can visit the Sagrada Família and explore the centre of the city, where you can visit some flea markets. You can get such great bargains there! . The best you can do in free evenings is go to a local bar near the beach to eat some tapas, I'll text you some good and cheap places you can go.
On the weekend, you can go up to Tibidabo and have a nice park in this theme park near the city of Barcelona, where you can spend a nice time riding roller coasters and other attractions that will fill you with adrenaline. You can also go to Barceloneta beach, where you can take the cable car that takes you to the Mirador de Miramar and enjoy the views of the port.
