Many people now have the freedom to work and live anywhere because of advances in communication technology and transportation. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.

It is a fact that in our now world the technology is part of our life, that much that is literally our daily. And it is really helpful for the majority of the population in the world, even though it obviously has its disadvantages. The first point I would like to talk about is the students. It is a big number of teenagers studying abroad, which is a very expensive cost of living, especially if the want enjoy as well as studying. That needs an extra money that maybe their parents cannot provide to them. That is why most of them try to look for a job while they are studying in other country. Secondly, talking about my personal experience, I have been studying abroad and in my case I had to work while I was going to school to be able to pay my whims. However, I was so lucky because the transportation has developed a lot from the last years, so I could easily take buses or underground to go from my house to the work, either the school. Also, thanks to the improvements in the technology I had the opportunity to work online, as well as having some of my classes online, when it was the case that I could not take part of some of them. By contrast, although the transports make it easier to go everywhere, the prices have risen a lot. So people that telecommuting, if one day they have to go to the office in case it was necessary, they might not can go if they live far away.
