WATSAN committee meeting at different Unions

The Union WATSAN committee meeting was held at four Unions level at Baniachong Upazila in Habiganj District. In this event, a total of participants were attended 89, Male 75 and female 14. These issues were covered at meetings, such as the Goal & objectives of SHOUHARDO III, the Structure of the Union WATSAN committee, the Role and responsibilities of the WATSAN committee, and recommendations for the sustainability of the WATSAN committee. The WATSAN committees have decided to continue on a future sustainable journey. They will incorporate allocation of budget FY 2022-2023 for water and sanitation to ensure the safe water will survey and increase the allotment of Tube-well as per small communities wise and will provide the 100% sanitations at the Union levels, and WATSAN committee will have continued regularly. Mr Sadikur Rahman, Chairman of Sujatpur Union at Baniachong Upazila in Habiganj District, said that the Tube-well must be allocated to poor communities, and to be given priority SHOUHARDO III program communities.
