In the era of exponential globalization, many people believe that cultural communication and international business bring plenty of beneficial opportunities while others argue that national identities will be disappeared. From my perspective, international contacts has more advantages than drawbacks.
On the one hand, the expansion of cultural exchange and international commerce promote internal economy and culture. Firstly, the countries can boost prestige in import- export trade. Besides, the enterprises also have advantages because their products could be spread out of the outside the world. They are not only make money but also improve economic implication. In addition, consumers are able to experience products in foreign nations. For instance, in 2002, Japanese have opportunities to taste lychee from Vietnam. Furthermore, more and more people know culture and tradition, and of course, the countries will be famous destinations, the tourism and travel industries are develop. There are led to be a precursor to diplomatic development.
On the other hand, many unpromising enterprises have concerned about their products will lose value in the future. For example with people who live in Vietnam, instead of using cosmetics in their country, they pay a lot of attention and money on imported cosmetics from Korea or America. Numerous Vietnamese people who live in foreign country do not want to respect tradition in their country, they always put foreign cultures on pedestal. For instance,
Young adolescents want to change traditional music for pop music or hip hop music.
In conclusion, despite obstacles in preserving and promoting tradition and national identity, globalization has enormous advantages for global economic growth and cultural advancement.
