This maps shows developing of Nelson city which has been expanded during twenty year from 2000. There have been much changes, the most noticeable being, expanding of the mature buildings and constructing of the new centres. In 2000, in the south of city centre the port situated which there had been nothing around and in the west of country the aged market resettled that was the only marketing place. Also, in the north-east side, there was a tiny forest, in the north-west there was a train station of the town and on the north field, the university has situated. In the present time, the burg has been extending for twenty years. Only university is not renovated. Consequencly that, there are too in Nelson town. In the port, there are a restaurant, bars and clubs. The train station is removed to the right and made into the new centre. The forest and ancient market are replaced into the modern shopping heart and the new shop. A hall of residence and the covered market are joined.
